Dr Ngozi Lina Ekeigwe is a distinguished researcher and academic author specialising in rheumatology. Her work has significantly contributed to the understanding of autoimmune diseases, particularly within the Nigerian context. Dr Ekeigwe's recent publication, "Pattern of systemic lupus erythematosus in NIGERIA: a multicentre descriptive hospital-based study," published in Clinical Rheumatology in 2023, highlights her commitment to advancing medical knowledge and improving patient outcomes in her region. This study provides valuable insights into the epidemiology and clinical manifestations of systemic lupus erythematosus in Nigeria, underscoring the importance of localised research in global health.

In addition to her work on systemic lupus erythematosus, Dr. Ekeigwe has also explored other complex autoimmune conditions.
